Disneyland Paris – Advice, Hints and Tips please?

We are planning a holiday to Disneyland Paris in late August/early September and will be travelling via Eurostar with my 5 year old daughter and 18 month old son and my partner.

Could anyone who has been and stayed at a resort hotel for 3+ days give us any helpful hints or advice on how to make the trip easier/fun, etc? What NOT to do? What not to miss?
